Submit a Claim

If you are an AIG travel insurance customer requiring emergency assistance or advice from Travel Guard, please call our 24-hours emergency assistance at (603) 2772 5740 or (6221) 2188 9021.

We recommend you to contact your agent, broker or AIG Indonesia once you become aware of a claim or circumstances that may give rise to a claim with all available information and specify the following :

  • Policy Number
  • Date of the claim event
  • Location of the claim event
  • Description of the loss, damage or injury
  • Description of third party affected
  • Chronological description of the claim event
  • Estimated amount of loss
  • Contact person for further claim process (name, telephone number, fax number and email address)

AIG Marine Klaim Cepat are a set of procedures for the handling of marine cargo claims whereby claims under certain criteria will be paid within 7 business days since notice of loss date subject to all required claim documents received by AIG.

The objective of this customer-focused procedure is to improve customers experience by providing simple requirement and faster claims services for small value marine cargo claims.

  • If there is an event of a loss, we are suggesting to take necessary steps to prevent further losses and immediately report the loss to AIG Claim Officers.
  • Report to the Police Station if the loss suffered is caused by a criminal act as per claim procedure in Your Policy.

AIG Indonesia is committed to provide high quality claim services to meet our customer's need. The duration of claim process depends on information and document completion, inspection report of appointed claim officer/third party, and the complexity of the claim. The claim payment will be paid effectively within 14 (fourteen) working days after the agreement on the claim value.

“AIG Marine Klaim Cepat” is AIG Indonesia’s service innovation in handling series of Marine Cargo claim procedures. In this service, AIG balances adjudication efforts with value claims and simplifying the claims process to improve the quality of customer experience in processing Marine Cargo claims. This service applied to small amount. The process of AIG Marine Klaim Cepat is 7 (seven) working days after documents are completed. For more detailed information, please click the link here.

You will receive the Settlement letter within 5 working days after document complete and premium is fully paid. Claim payment will be done within 2 working days after settlement letter issued.
